Chris Cotter

Chris Cotter, a professional musician from the greater Philadelphia area, has spent the last 19 years studying and performing music. A well-rounded drummer, his sound integrates Rock, Folk, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Funk, and Latin Styles to create tight grooves and danceable rhythms. Not only an accomplished drummer, he also plays and records guitar, bass, and vocals. His intensity and enthusiasm for live original music creates and explosive performance at every show.

Dan Reiner

Dan's been playing the keys for 18 years, focusing on improvisation and funky jazz techniques. Some of his inspirations include Herbie Handcock, Weather Report, and Boards of Canada, to name a few. Dan is also very experienced in programming and sequencing electronic, ambient, and trip-hop styles.

Joe Gabala

Guitarist Joe Gabala earned his bachelor degree in Music Technology/Composition from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA (go Stillers!), where his primary instrument of study was classic guitar. He studied music composition with David Stock, nationally acclaimed composer, conductor, and founder of the Pittsburgh New Music Ensemble. Joe currently divides his time between guitar instruction, music composition, and performing.

Xzotic D

As far as DJ’s go Xzotic D is top notch, years of experience has enabled him to master the art of the scratch and understand what it takes to make a crowd move. Growing up in the philly area when DJ Cash $, Jazzy Jeff, and Scratch were gaining popularity, Xzotic spent much of his time sharpening his claws and developing his style while training with the areas hottest underground DJ’s. He’s won the 103.9FM DJ Battle beating out twelve of the tri-state area’s best and the Soul Sanctuary Courvoisier Competition, both in ’02 and ’03. Its always a party and an ass-shakin’ good time on the dance floor when Xzotic is behind the wheels of steel.

Bob Brookens

Sax-man Bob Brookens brings warm, soulful accentuation any performance or recording. Bob is old-school West Chester having graduated with a performance degree majoring in classical guitar and minoring in sax and piano. He has performed locally with such bands as Tree of Life, Kaya, the Gilroys, and Diatribe. As if that wasn’t enough Bob has done some continent hopping touring with Chubby Checker on saxophone and has just finished his Master’s of Music Therapy at Temple University .

James McLaughlin

James has studied classical piano for eighteen years, and the guitar for seven. He has performed all his life, in many different venues, ranging from garages to Carnegie Hall and has been an asset to Taylor’s Music teaching staff for the last few years. James is graduating from West Chester University with a degree in Music Education.

Fred Biondi

Fred Biondi is a freelance drummer working in the Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Harrisburg areas. He was a member of the Philadelphia Jazz Ensemble from 1976 to 1980 playing, recording, and doing jazz clinics for colleges in the tri-state area. He is currently working with the Don Glanden trio and can be heard on "Only Believe" Cadence Jazz Records (CJR 1093) featuring Ernie Watts. Fred is also owner of Pro-musica studios, a music school in Kennett Sq PA.

Colin McGetrick

Colin has been playing music and writing songs for 15 years. Over the past 14 years, he has been writing with and for several groups of varied instrumentation and styles. These groups include CKB3; a recording and performance trio of guitar, voice, vibraphone, and cello, and The Nines; a rock band comprised of keyboard, bass, drums, guitars and vocals. Most recently, Colin focuses on his new independent and collaborative ventures of writing, arranging, recording and performance with the help of the latest in computers and digital technologies.
